Ask.com
Ask.com is a search engine. It is a business
division of IAC Search & Media, and was founded in 1996 by Garrett
Gruener and David Warthen in Berkeley, California. Ask.com was
originally known as Ask Jeeves, where "Jeeves" is the name of the
"gentleman's personal gentleman", or valet (illustrated by Marcos
Sorenson), fetching answers to any question asked. The original idea
behind Ask Jeeves was to allow users to get answers to questions posed
in everyday, natural language. It supports a variety of user queries in
plain English (natural language), as well as traditional keyword

Catechism of the Catholic Church
A popular manual of instruction in Christian
doctrine. In the early Church, catechetical instruction was standardized
in preparation for baptism as in the writings of St. Augustine (354-430)
and St. Gregory of Nyssa (330-95). After the invention of printing,
books of catechetical instruction multiplied. The best known catechisms
in the Catholic Church are St. Peter Canisius' Summa of Christian
Doctrine (1555) and the Catechism of the Council of Trent or Roman
Catechism (1566). Numerous catechisms were published in various
countries authorized by their respective hierarchies, e.g., the
so-called Penny Catechism in Great Britain and the series of Baltimore
Catechisms in the United States. Since the Second Vatican council, all
catechisms published by ecclesiastical authority must also be "submitted
to the Apostolic See for review and approval" (General Catechetical
Directory, 119). ["Universal Catechism"]

mission of the Church itself -- to spread the Gospel through
contemporary means of communication. Our mission is to perform this task
by reporting the news which affects Catholics in their everyday lives.

to know in order to work for salvation. They need to know that there are
saints in the making in the Church today and they need to know that
there are sinners too. Our mission is to report fully, fairly and freely
about the involvement of the Church in the world today. For more

In 1990,
Michael P. Howard founded Eat the Scroll Ministry (ETS). He received the
inspiration for ETS Ministry from studying the calling of the prophet
Ezekiel. God told the prophet, "Eat the Scroll" and Ezekiel's response
was, "...I ate it and it was sweet as honey" (Ez. 3:1). ETS Ministry is
a Washington, DC based Christian group. It's mission is, "to educate,
evangelize and to encourage and develop leadership among God's people,
